TASERS IN SCHOOLS
I was suprised to read that tasers are legal in all but seven states in the USA.
Now school bullies are using tasers at schools
and then posting their exploits on YouTube
Law enforcement has also used tasers on school grounds
and from 2004 there was an incident where a taser was used on a six year old child. http://www.injusticebusters.com/2003/Tasers.htm
Taser use by the RCMP is also on the rise in Canada.
There was also an incident in December 2007 of a taser being used
on a student near a school in Ottawa,Ontario,Canada
Even though a taser was used by the police,
they found no reason to follow up with additional charges against the student.
Last week the RCMP announced that they would be
limiting the information which they release about taser incidents.
This is troubling in the unfortunate scenario
of any future taser incidents between students and law enforcement.
At "KIND CLASSES" website,
I have organized a mini - poll on the subject of schools and tasers -
surveying how many are victims, aggressors, observers, of taser attacks.
The poll also gives an option to list any police taser incidents
observed on school grounds.

The appearance of tasers at schools suprised me
but it probably shouldn't as we have seen deadly weapons of different types
show up at our schools.Tasers do not fit into my vision of kinder classes everywhere!
